Insured Patients
Dr. Holt is a "no gap" gastroenterologist for all procedures. For most patients with hospital level private health cover their only expenses should be any excess on their policy. For "open access" patients attending via our rooms there is also a $150 charge to cover the cost of review by our nurse and the bowel preparation materials. Any Pathology charges are levied separately by the pathology company, but at present we believe there are no out of pocket expense.

Uninsured Patients
Uninsured patients are charged directly for their treatment. This also applies to the hospital and pathology charges. These amounts vary, but a rough idea of out-of pocket expenses are available from our office. Waiting times for uninsured patients varies, and this information can also be obtained from our office.
